Applications
Marad is available in multiple versions that are optimized for each different operating system. This way, our users have the optimal user experience on their device. For example, a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. You can either download our desktop version (available for office and vessel users), access Marad in your browser by navigating to Marad Online, or by downloading the mobile app on iOS or Android. There are three different types of Marad installations. From the top to the bottom of the image:
- Marad Desktop (computer)
- Marad Web (laptop)
- Marad App (tablet and mobile phone)
Marad Desktop
Marad Desktop is our Windows application. It can be installed in online mode (Marad Office) or offline mode (Marad Vessel). The office version requires an internet connection, the vessel version can work fully offline. When an internet connection is available, Marad can (automatically) synchronize with the cloud. Changes made on the office side will be transferred to the vessel, and vice versa.
The vessel version of Marad includes the entire database. The vessel version should therefore be generated in either Marad Desktop (office version) or the online version (web). You can generate a setup in Start | Setups | “Generate setup for the current location”.
Please note that installing a vessel version should not be taken lightly. You should avoid installing a vessel version multiple times, as this means that there are multiple ‘truths’. We have built a so called fingerprint system to avoid synchronization from multiple vessel versions. This avoids data conlicts. You can contact our support to reset the fingerprint.
Marad Web
Marad Online is our web application. You can acesss the web application in any modern, up-to-date browser such as:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
To use the web application, simply navigate to https://marad.online. You will be greeted with the login screen. If you have MFA (multi-factor authentication) enabled, you will also have to enter a 6 digit one-time token. Fun fact: the dashboard can be customized with resizable tiles!
Marad App
Marad App is our mobile application. You can install it on your tablet or mobile phone. It is available on:
- App Store (iOS devices)
- Google Play (Android devices)
