Certificates

The certificates module is one of the easiest modules to learn in Marad.

Adding categories

As always, the module is empty on startup. Press the ‘New’ button to add a new category, for example ‘Class’.

You can continue to add new categories by right-clicking an existing one, or by clicking the plus button in the ‘Add certificate’ screen.

Adding certificates

To add a certificate, simply press the ‘New’ button. You will be prompted with a new screen in which you can enter all of the certificate details. The ‘surveys of Certificate’ determine the status of the certificate, quite similar to a maintenance job. We will set it to annual with a period of 3 months before and after due:

Renewing a certificate

To renew a certificate or perform an additional survey, right-click the certificate:

You will be asked to fill in the name of the surveyor, place, number, date of issue, and type of renewal:
