You want to start using Marad, but where should you start? In this course, we will learn you everything from purchasing a license to actually using Marad.

Purchasing a Marad license

Depending on if you already own a Marad environment or not, the steps are usually as follows:

• Information request – you request information from MaraSoft, for example product information and price details
• Trial period – we provide you a free demo so you can try out the system yourself
• Quotation – we send you a quotation based on your requirements
• Purchase order – you purchase Marad
• Implementation – we provide you with all the details and help you with implementation
• Customer success – we monitor and analyze your environment and vessels

Marad Environment

After purchasing Marad, you receive access to your very own Marad environment. An environment consists of the following:

• Licenses (e.g., multiple vessels)
• Users (e.g., crew, staff, external users, etc.)

Marad Licenses

A license is a single asset, for example a vessel, container with equipment, or something else. You can manage multiple assets in one license, but this is not recommend. We only recommend this when the asset is too small to have its own license, for example a RHIB or small ROV. A license consists of modules. You, the client, determines which modules should be activated. The following modules are currently available:

• Start
• Maintenance
• Inventory
• Purchase
• Certificates
• Safety
• FLGO
• Crewing
• QHSE
• Library

Marad Services

We also offer various services to our clients. The most requested services are:

• API access – invoiced per key
• Custom development – invoiced hourly or per project
• Implementation – invoiced hourly
