Users

Users accounts are necessary to access the Marad application. They can access data based on their user group and assigned locations. You can create users in Start | Administration | Users:

An acocunt has three important properties:

• User Group – determines which data the user can access and change
• Assigned locations – determines which locations the user can access

For example, this crew member can access the vessel ‘Demo vessel’ and has the user group ‘Chief Engineer’.

Another example are the user group permissions. The checkbox in front of the ‘Delete job’ permission is unchecked, so this means that this user cannot delete jobs in your maintenance system:
